Garnets in the Sun

This overcast weekend my 8-yr old daughter Sophia and I went horseback riding to an abandoned mine and prospected for garnets. Sophia found one, as well as various other stones. On the ride back, the sun pushed through the clouds and, suddenly, we had a glorious afternoon on a clear sky. It was a day to reflect and enjoy nature and realize what's really important in life.
